Aye it’s dark o clock now, so will check under the passenger seat tomorrow for Jack and handle, and report back.Or in rear bed locker, black plastic case, some times bolted to rear inside wall. I would get the wheel down and cleanup the bolt/ mechanism as they are prone to seizing up. Or is it an alko carrier?
Pictures would help

I think all I’ve got is electric gubbins under my drivers seat, but will check todayCheck drivers seat too, my my19 Burstner/Fiat had a slot for the tool box there.
Don't think you're allowed to do it on a motorway in any country. So I used a ratchet and got the spare wheel down but what a palaver to get it off! I couldn’t imagine doing it in the pishing rain on the side of a French/British/ Spanish motorway
If the AA can do it…….At least you've got it off though
