Liberty Media (Moto GP) could learn a lot from the BSB organising team if they want a championship to attract tv ratings.

It wouldn't work.
BSB don't pay any prize money and all the teams have to pay to enter.

The teams in MotoGP wouldn't stand for that, and rightly so.

I am sorry, and I will clarify my position. I am not coming at it from a financial point of view but from a spectator who likes to see good close clean racing, and I think the lack of ride height devices, anti wheely systems sophisticated electronics etc, is where BSB has got it right. Basically getting rid of anything that puts the control of the bike back into the riders hands has got to be a good thing for the spectator, and yes I freely admit to being a dinosaur.

Oh yes. I hate the ride height devices and launch control stuff.

Yes yes ,, no electronics, and no computers or 3 axis sensors just loads of power and a rider ,, thats the way ,,,,,,I hate all the rules and compromises that only favour the biggest money teams , same as F1 ...

I agree to some extent and I turn off all the electronics on my GSXR1000.

But the MotoGP makers know that their road bikes sell better with all the tat on.
