Yep, I get the same for my motorbikes (and they are exempt from MOT's. Cheap motoring. ).

Errr no nothing to check really for MOT just lights and brakes, seeing as I have stripped callipers and put new seals and stainless pistons in they are better than new although they are shite as single piston brakes on a little rocket lights easy check, might change my 24 year old tyres although they have plenty of tread still only covered a few thousand miles

Not being mechanically minded like some i find i rest easier knowing that after a MOT on a 50 year old vehicle has acheived a pass is well worth the £50 once a year.
