Brittany Ferries Club Voyage Member?, Given a Code? Waiting to Renew? Some Info.

I emailed Brittany Ferries last week re this- they said no definite date but hopefully the end of June.

We are looking to book our first trip to Spain in Jan. waiting with excitement to book the ferry. Do people normally book a flex one so they can choose when to come back? Or is it easy to change the return dat? Also would love to join their club but someone said they are not taking any more memberships? Or they are not worth it now? Is that right?
If anyone has a code they wouldn’t mind sharing I would be grateful. Hopefully I will join in the future and fo the same for others .

They are still taking new members I’m sure as they still advertise the Club. The new terms aren’t as good though for most people. The only better deal would be if you only travel midweek in winter when you can get up to 35% off a crossing. The details of the new Ts&Cs are on the website and make the comparison clear.
We always book a Flexi fare so that we can make changes online up to 4 hrs before the crossing at no extra charge, obviously it costs in the first place but some have found Brittany ferries difficult to get through to by phone. They also have no one who can change bookings at weekends and at night. We always book the two crossings separately as you can’t change the return journey online once you’ve made the outward crossing from England if you book a return.

Really not sure what goes on about B.F. codes, I was pilloried and abused on here for allowing someone to use my B.F. code......... could someone please explain the protocol for allowing a fellow/ friend to use the code ???? I am genuinely interested due to the abuse I received for allowing my code to be used !!!!!

I think the only time I got told off was when I had newly joined and gave my code to someone who wasn’t a fully paid up member of MotorhomeFun. I didn’t know that wasn’t done but of course I can now see why not because it is Family and Friends and we are using the “Friends” bit quite loosely really. Apparently when someone uses your code now they have to put your name in, don’t know if that’s actually true.

Take no notice of abuse,,I share mine at least 15 times a year,,that gives me the maximum £150 in vouchers to put towards my crossings.. Have done for at least 5 years.Struggled a bit 2020 2021 but didn't do bad..BUSBY.

Promoting or advertising this membership benefit via websites, internet forums and elsewhere is strictly prohibited, and considered a breach of your membership.- For members who joined on or after 16 November 2021, discounts are limited to 8 bookings per membership (a maximum credit accruable £80 per annum, allocated when you renew your membership)
- For members who joined before 16 November 2021, discounts are limited to 15 bookings per membership (a maximum credit accruable £150 per annum, allocated when you renew your membership)
There are around 50,000+ paid up "funsters" on here (I think). If you are happy to consider any one of those as being "close to you" then share away - many do. Personally, I don't but I wouldn't criticise anyone that does (except anyone who shares with someone too tight to actually pay to join the forum).
