I have used Britstops 2 and have spoken to 2 others Bristop sites for travelling up to Scotland and all of them because they are either farm shops or in one case a cheese diary have all said “just turn up there will be plenty of space” 
With farm shops they don’t check to see if you have spent loads, we tend to buy the staples and odd chutneys .
