I lost loads of photos at this stage. Next bit was the initial vinyl wrap (which is still on the van 7/8 years later)

The other advantage of a truck build is... The box can be swapped onto a new chassis without having to redo all the accommodation.

So in 10 years, I won't have to do a full rebuild, just buy a more recent truck chassis and swap the boxes. Costs between £500-£1000...

Yes it’s gonna be a cracking space inside,, a completely square room,, brilliant!! X

If I do a colour change I would have to respray the cab as well, which is a much bigger job :(

I will be applying decals once it is done. So it won't be just a plain red box.

If you do it similar to the one in the picture remember to take the bike off before lowering the tail lift!!!!!!!!!!

Often thought if having a 5th wheeler using a daf75 artic unit would be cheaper then buying a pickup truck, and good wearing.

i have seen them painted with quality gloss paint

Coach Paint - that was how all big vehicles were done once upon a time. Hammerite and Smoothrite do a magnificent job of protection with minimal preparation. Not cheap but good.

Don’t think that commercial vans are allowed on Jasmin, if they are I’m going elsewhere.
New plan :p
