Rally Bring and Buy

A big thanks to Dave & Polly for a fab weekend.
Thanks to the helpers and to all funsters that made it a lovely little gathering.
The site has great potential to be fantastic, I’m sure Dougie will continue to make improvements.

A fantastic weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Magic weather, good company and a level rally field - what’s not to like! Skye was totally spoiled with all the tummy rubs.
Huge thank you to Dave and Polly - and best wishes for Daves treatment.

As we left we saw the lawn mower out again and the chap had a big smile on his face!

Thanks for a lovely weekend Polly and Dave - I loved seeing Our Little’un’s caps being worn by Funsters, and a pretty little girl who had no idea she was wearing a World Wrestling Federation cap! She looked good in it though!

Put us down for next year - and in the meantime we’ll be keeping everything crossed for you Dave, and for Polly, hoping you find the right van! xx

Had a lovely time meeting new funsters and putting faces to forum names....A big thank you to Dave and Polly for doing a great job and we couldn't of asked for better weather :) ..
 
It was nice to meet the few of you that I did on Saturday evening, hopefully Sam and I will be able to make a full rally sometime soon.
 
@toledo Polly and Dave and your helpers thank you for organising a lovely weekend it was excellent and you ordered sunshine as well. I hope you get a new van sorted soon and that Dave’s treatment goes well. Thanks everyone for your company.

And Dave and Polly have donated the £98 raised to E A A A ( East Anglia Air Ambulance ) which has been a good kick start to the Thetford meet !

Terry made a donation too ( and helped me retrieve Woman who was stuck at home !)

Just an update we would like to thank you all for your kind comments much appreciated. Two things on arriving home we just managed it we drew up out side the house and guess what the clutch cable went so going no where. the other was Dave has his pre op on the 23 and op on the 24 guess we will be on the bus or taxi

Well done Polly and Dave for such a great rally at the Rose and Crown. Their food was delicious and so reasonably priced. Weather was superb, great to catch up with lots of friends and meet new Funsters.
You have had a run of bad luck lately but as usual you try to do your best for us all.
Hope you find a new van soon and best wishes for a speedy recovery for Dave.
Please add us to the list next year for a repeat of this very successful rally.

Thanks Polly and Dave. We had a really good time at he B&B. Pub food was spot on. Lot's of lovely people to chat to, as is usual for a fun gathering. We even had sunshine. What more could you ask for.

What more can we say that hasn't already been said....what a fantasic weekend full marks to Polly & Dave for all their hard work in organising a cracking meet, venue , pub food, entertainment even weather spot on, we had a fantastic weekend catching up with old friends and meeting some lovely new ones, look forward to next meet, sending big hugs and positive vibes to Polly & Dave for the weeks ahead , see you both soon

Can we add a huge thank you Polly & Dave for all the hard work and effort in putting on what was a brilliant meet it had everything sunshine good company a great bring and buy got everyone chatting to one another in the sunshine and some bargains to be had the food and friendliness of the landlord and his wife was great we really enjoyed it.

Really sorry to hear about the car, thank goodness it got you home safely hope you can get transport sorted, perhaps ask the Macmillan nurses if anything is available, sending love and positive thoughts and wishes for a smoother road ahead.

We just want to add our thanks to Polly and Dave for all of their hard work in organising this meet. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the specially ordered weather was wonderful.

Hope Dave sorts his health problem out soon and you both find a lovely motorhome so you can continue with your adventures.

Many thanks, Dave & Polly. We had a great time and met lots of friendly people. We even sold more than we bought, at least in volume and weight terms, though the various booksellers did well out of us. The food in the pub was brilliant and great value. I'm glad someone chivvied us along to see the band on Saturday as they were excellent. From Chuck Berry to the Kaiser Chiefs, via Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Thin Lizzy - what more could you ask? We enjoyed the quiz too and of course Geraldine's songs in the interval.

Roll on next year. Good luck with your treatment, Dave.
