Well at the moment your £ doesn't buy you many Euro so that's bound to affect the price of imported vans which will then have a knock on effect of bolstering the used market, if you look at importing from over the water everything is more expensive than it was a year or two ago when you have to buy your Euro's.

Some do and THEY leak badly, so do some German ones as well.Motorhome manufacturers don't produce condoms for obvious reasons, the world would become over populated.

No idea, didn't know there was ? Mate just said it was very unusual to be up around double what they normally deklivered daily at these months of the year. Then why all the doom and gloom on tv about poor sales etc.
No, new mercedes from Devon to customers all over Uk & Ireland, usually pcp but occasionally our right sale. This is Mercedes the manufacturer no dealer involvement normally.Delivering stock to garages for the new year or delivering to customers ?
What do you think will happen to used prices next year in all the uncertainty over Brexit etc. We are looking to buy (used) but...???
If we have another referendum, and the vote reverses, and the Pound moves up drastically against the € it could make things interesting. Used values seem to be propped up by the rise in new values due to the fall in the Pond v €.
Apologies for straying off topic but has anyone else wondered how the residuals of motorhomes over 3500kg will fare in the future. I believe that at present about 50% of the population could have the grandfather rights that allow them to have the C1 license needed to drive heavier vehicles, without a further complicated test. By my guesstimate in 10 years time that population will have reduced to somewhere between 35% and 40% . At some point surely this must affect the residuals of the heavier motorhomes?
I agree with you and in practice that is exactly what I do. We have ordered a new mh despite the uncertainties. Why are you worrying about prices rising or falling just get on and buy it if it’s what you want. life is not all about how much money you can save it’s about making the best of the short time we all have cause if you don’t spend it others will.
Same here, pick it up in 27 days time!I agree with you and in practice that is exactly what I do. We have ordered a new mh despite the uncertainties.
Does it really matter, if you want the van and have the money just buy and enjoy.Apologies for straying off topic but has anyone else wondered how the residuals of motorhomes over 3500kg will fare in the future. Quite right; my philosophy entirely. I'm not intending that my lifetime's hard-earned will be spent by the kids on fast cars or by me in order to eat overcooked sprouts and be beaten up in a care homeI agree with you and in practice that is exactly what I do. We have ordered a new mh despite the uncertainties.
If you felt that way in Greece , dont ever visit Monaco
The reverse is the more likely scenario. Pound will weaken further yet against the Euro, the worst is yet to come. If you purchase a new european manufactured MH you’ll get hammered. Even if not, the base vehicle and most of the components will be european manufactured so no escape. Add into that trade tariffs and prices are only going north! Will probably have a upward impact on used prices? The average UK residents buying power in europe ain’t what it used to be. I felt a bit like the poor relation in Greece this year!
