Boxer/Ducato gearbox query.

Does anyone know if Peugeot sorted out the well-known gearbox issues on the facelifted earlier vans? I'm thinking of the ones with the updated dash, sort of late '02 onwards.

5th gear starved of oil for example?

I think the 5th gear problem had been sorted out by 2002, if your reverse gear is left and up it'll be ok.
If it's right and down it may be the older box with the problem, largely solved by overfilling gearbox oil.
Reverse juddergate can with the x250 2006 onwards I believe

Came from home to Praia de Mira,up and over Mortaqua Luso and parked up.
Went to come off the pitch to go to the drive over dump place....NO drive and this sign on the dash.
Are there ANY tricks i can try to resolve this,before i alert " Huston control " aka Santa Comba dao please
I have a Hammer........ and some spanners.
The Insurance covers recovery to...wherever Garage/home ,but would like to get it home and unload it first, before it is taken into custody of some Fiat dealership.

I don't think this thread is anything to do with comfortmatic gearboxes.
But I'm sure you're other thread will bring some assistance
