Hi Dave I am sure someone will help....why 2 charge controller? I would think one would handle two panels

I was wondering the same myself, ie, why two?

Cheers,

Jock. :)

According to Eddie at Vanbits and Munchie, if you use one controller and that fails then both solar are OUT, if you have two then that problem doesnt exist... Sort of make sense...

My current controller is placed under the bed, far too close to the boiler and the cover is bent.. The wires are there, just needs moving slighty, plus the cables have not been labeld, and I thought that this is the time to fix it... I coud go to Vanbitz but thats a long trip just to fix two controllers...

so one BlueSolar MPPT 75/15 Victron Solar Controller 12/24V woudl be enough for my 2 x 100w solar and 2 x 100A batteries?

Dave, why worry about it failing? They are usually reliable especially when compared with other bits you have on the motorhome. And if it does fail you can usually get a replacement quickly, and in the meantime you can still use the motorhome as long as you have EHU or don't stay too long in one place.

Just place one further away from the heat and you should be OK.

Nice one Dave......pity you did not ask I have one....you could have bought it off me for £100 :D

Apparently you can buy BT as a extra ....Yours for £60 or I will take to bring and buy if anyone wants it

Even if the price hasn't gone up we really should pay more, £1 / pint is far too cheap, very nice and extremely generous, but I cant see anybody not minding paying £2 / pint, doubt it would affect sales at all and would add a little to the charity funds (y)

Still cheaper than Wetherspoons

Have you got room for us please . John n Linda

Thank you we look forward to coming. John n Linda

Roll up, Roll up

I'm doing Southport CC and Castleton CC to get the van back in the frame. Poor thing thinks he's abandoned. Is Southport possibly the most expensive CC site in the country ?
Supposed to do Berwick at Easter but woke up to this

Hey, don’t be posting those frosty, snowy pics on my thread. We’ve got sunshine for our meet. Wall to wall......it’s been booked for ages

Thanks for that. I’m following a guy called Andy on YouTube at the moment. He’s doing ten lessons. I’ve not played for a week, cause we’ve been away, and I feel like I’m back to the beginning again

I watch Andy guitar too
You on steel strings? Takes months to toughen those fingertips :(
For the first time is really good for practising the main chord changes just by slowing it down to where you can manage it and build speed over time
I guess I’m close to 100% but not consistent yet so get some earplugs :ROFLMAO:
C to G is the hardest I guess
The Capo is a major help of course as it moves your fingers to where everything is spaced easier

My fingertips are numb and are shedding skin :(

Don’t worry, we’ll just drown you out with the music ;)
