Rally Chat Bluebell Line Railway. Possible 2019 rally

Thanks you for the continuing posts. As I said before if this happens I will post a new thread in the Rallies forum, with all of the details including dates and finalised costs, sometime in late autumn or early winter and inviting names to go on the official list. Before doing so I will PM/conversation everybody who has expressed an interest on this thread to warn you when it will happen. That will give you all a chance to get in quick! However, I am afraid that I will be requiring deposits for this one before you can go on the official list.

For those of you who have raised the prospects of Harveys beer, the railway has said that in the past they have agreed to set up a beer tent for events. So I will be looking into that, but can't promise anything until I get confirmed numbers. A word of warning though for those of you who have never tasted that nectar of the gods made by Harveys; it will spoil you for any other beer.

never done a Rally but steam trains and beer sounds like a fab winner!
Looks like you have a tiger by the tail!!!! Any vineyards close by??

It won't be held late 2019. As per initial post it will be held in June or July 2019. Are you still interested?

Subject to dates this sounds lovely. Never done a rally, would be very interested.
 
Oops missed the bit about June/ July, I can’t make that timing, usually I’ll be in France. Good luck with the rally.
 
I am a total rally virgin, this appeals to me as I love steam trains.
I am interested, might have to persuade the much better half though.

Yes several In the area and I believe Bluebell Vineyard is walking distance from either Horsted keynes or Sheffield Park stations on the line.
