Evening everybody, I'm travelling solo to France and Spain in a few weeks time and a little worried about my ability to see traffic when joining motorways and at junctions etc. Does anyone have any advice and recommendations for blind spot mirrors??. The small ones online don't seem to be up to the job.
Many thanks.

Given the price of a modern MH, why can't they boast blind spot sensors as in modern cars? I get an orange light in either mirror in my CX5, and a beep to warn me. The presence of a vehicle also shows up in the HUD!
Excellent.

Excellent.
All the extras cost money, to Fiat Peugeot et al its a Van. my Up! is no longer modern (3yrs old) and is sold to a market at a price. It doesn't even have electric mirrors, or electric seats. My 87 Audi 100 Avant had electric everything even load sensing Hydraulic rear suspension. Different markets different pricing structure.

Having covered many thousands of miles in Europe in RHD MoHo’s solo & with passenger I totally agree with acropolis22 joining motorways is the easiest junction to negate , you & me must have totally different driving Styles
As I said it is not all the time but I have experienced difficulties, particularly in Germany, just telling it as I’ve found it. The German roads tend to have much shorter slip roads so you cannot get a long look back down the motorway lane from the near side mirror as you joining it on an angle and you cannot see through the side of the van wall.

I tend to try and always drive to my Advanced Driving Course standards and have never had a collision so hopefully must be doing something right 😜

But of a thread reserection...

Just spent two weeks and 2000km driving around France, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. I've got an A-class and I was concerned about my view out of the left for a lot of T junctions. I tried Lenny HB 's idea of a 'reversing' Fresnel lens, turning it 90 degrees like he suggested. It was helpful many times. Cheers!
