Ah, that looks good. Yep, ours has the cutlery draw behind it, so wasn't sure if bolts would snag. Basically, I drilled out the holes a bit wider, filled with PVA and cocktail stick ends and left to harden, then sanded level and it was like putting screws into proper wood. Shelf is now solid as a rock.

My dealer knew straightaway what the problem was and showed me that the bed slat runners had been fitted the wrong way round. Took 5 minutes to fix, and he said "that's happened on every one we've sold. They obviously dont know there are 2 positions!".

I think I would have asked why they didn't check when they sold them then!
