Bigguspeckus owns up: a tale of woe.

Slip a photo of your head in where the cassette would be?

Or a picture of the mother-in-law stuck to the bottom of the cassette housing, only visible when cassette removed

'Do we need to empty the cassette now?'

Easily solved by carrying a spare - just swap them - peace of mind.

MH cost, £27,000. Spare cassette cost, £75. Worry cost, bad night sleep, early death.

Leave the lid and the seat up. If the Lady of the House goes to put the seat down she is bound to see a big hole at the bottom of the pan. Anway while I am doing the cassette she is busy opening the dirty water and getting the hose ready to fill with fresh.

No they don't look just whinge about it and never leave the seat back up for me

Have you fixed it yet!
Still waiting to find out.

Not in this household.

If she wants it down, she is a big girl and puts it down.

I do not expect her to lift it up in case I want to use it, I lift it up myself.

No dicussions of that nature here - life is too short.

Tell your wife from me that whingeing about that sort of stuff is a waste of a life - if you dare.

Anyone like me looking for the rest of the story.. Its here.

I've never worked out how much more you can do after the light comes on. Minded it's around litre. Anyone know?

About a litre :)

I don't think our red light is working :(

Have you checked your cassette float isn't stuck?

Yes. I think it is a fault on the circuit board. Not sure of you remember but at Edinburgh last year the loo was constantly flushing and we found water had run behind the control panel. Usually we don't let the loo get anywhere near full and empty at least every other day :) so it's not a major issue.
