@Jim just wondered what you have done with “ the go to first unread “ button

It's now automatic. Clicking the title of emboldened thread (which have unread posts) will load the first unread post. For threads with no unread posts (not bold), clicking the title will load the first post.

From around 7pm this evening we will be working on the server. So the Fun will stop for a few hours. Thereafter we will be working on the forum for a couple of days tweaking and refining the experience, re-writing help files etc so it will be good and solid for the next 5 years. This is a big upgrade, things will break, go missing, be initially confusing. But by the weekend it will be much better (if that's possible )

To everyone else, please do shout up in this thread about any issues you have, hopefully by Sunday we'd have addressed all of them. Thanks

Haven’t taken the site for a proper test ride yet but the presentation of the content i find is very good. Well done so far and good luck in getting through the whole process.

Jim, my goto was always "recent" threads. Can't find that anymore. Is the "new" threads the same as the old "recent"

Clicking on the "What's new" button seems to do the same as clicking on the MHF logo used to do. It doesn't show as many but there's a "Show more" button bottom right.

Must say I was not keen,,, but getting the hang of it..(I think)..
Not happy I have lost my pretty blue colour..

I just go to the bar at the top and click on colour and font size..

(TI. Font size)...As being an old fart and mostly old farts reading my drivel size 18 is easier to read..

Has to be done each time you reply to a thread..

Hover your pointy thing over your avatar and it come up on the bottom left of the screen..

Your membership number is 10065..

Must admit, not a fan of change sometimes. But can understand it has to be done. It’s just me I struggle to learn something or my way around a forum etc, then it changes so spins me out. Still it give me a chance to get my ol ford Capri out as Jim said.
