They will help on the odd occasion you need a bit of traction on mud or snow, but for most people 98% of motorhome driving is on the road. So it makes sense to have a tyre that does it's stuff 98% of the time rather than 2.It’s only 2 wheel drive but wouldn’t put a mix of tyres.
I have them on my VW camper which doesn’t shake at 70. Does the extra ton of motorhome make a difference?
Also the stopping characteristics seem good on the VW.
Also on BFG's the compound definitley hardens up over miles and time and its then the wet weather performance can give you a squeaky bum now and again. As for road noise the BFG is much better than you would think when you look at the tread pattern.
If you've used them, then as long as you know to be careful in the wet they are pretty much bullet proof in every other regard.
