Hi

What’s the best way to rejoin a split/broken sog pipe? The small corrugated hose has split & completely separated approx 6 inches from our thetford turd locker cassette (Carthago C tourer)

Thinking gaffa tape might not be the most effective seal?

Cheers

Thanks to all the helpful suggestions here, I managed to find a workaround which will do for now.

Bought 1m of pipe from a local pond supply shop.

With the help of a hairdryer, removed the existing fragile corrugated pipe from the join as it goes up into the roof.

Then replaced with the pond pipe and a couple of jubilee clips, fitting the existing cassette coupling to the end.

Somewhat bemused that I now have the benefit of being able to view any extracted 'doings' 💩 going up the SOG pipe ::bigsmile:

Hopefully only air going up the pipe. We replaced our split pipe with some from a pond shop.
