Hi everyone - what is in your basic toolkit for your motorhome and what's the best tool you're glad you had?
Cheers
Steve

Given my track record doing repairs on the road, this diagram sums it up nicely.
Internet access to search for help, a notepad to list any “must haves” I need to buy, credit card and breakdown recovery are a good start

Some tools are not even tools, eg my obd2 dongle is permanently attached and each time I use the van I have my phone with alfaobd installed, long trips I have my laptop with multiecuscan installed. So already there for other reasons. Then must have at least 2 7mm sockets for the bed (to ward off problems) just like having at least 6 5mm Alen keys and 4 10mm spanners.

I just take the Duchess. She knows just about everything there is to know about everything that ever existed,so I let her deal with everything. It leads to a peaceful life without taking the blame for anything, and she can tell the repairers what they need to do to fix it. :ROFLMAO:;)(y)

Unless I have missed it nobody has mentioned self-amalgamating tape - the elasticated one that binds to itself to form a good seal.

Great for sealing leaks and lots of other uses, e.g. temporary whipping for rope ends.

Lots of us have it, just couldn't spell it!
