Have a look at Craig solar.. I and a few others rate them…

Totally agree. I have a 280w single panel from Craig Solar, he only sells German made panels and mine has been a good buy. Great to order from, with a large selection of sizes and with excellent delivery, mine arrived with a two man delivery...

Looks like the Craig Solar website is insecure so I am not going to attempt to view anything.

What makes you say it's insecure? Just been there and it all looks good to me.

£160 each or £320 two
This is a good deal, and very good panel made in Spain under Burger Mayer manufacturing design and superior machinery.

is 21.5 % a good efficiency rate ?
Anything over 20-21% efficiency, proves a high quality and well put together panel. However, panels degrade in first year very fast, then, very slow every year. Old technology can loose 30% in 10 years hence many solar farms are upgrading. New panels, top efficiency, they loose 10-12% in 30 years of use.
I gave you very good certified and independent tested examples there.

Yes still good panel, apart of the PERC technology, a basic bussbar, but good panel. I have fitted Longi 460w and Canadian solar 455w, on my garage and some on the house. I have replaced the old Trina 250w, and gained space and a extra 1.4kwp.

At £60 take it, don’t hesitate.

Thanks, question on this if possible please. I’ve got a 2019 coachbuilt which the dealer fitted a 100w solar panel on and is ok but sometimes inadequate if off-grid for more than a couple of days. 160ah gel battery replacement last year but still runs out a bit too soon so considering bigger. Is it just a panel swap or would it need a different “controller” etc? Would you use the existing cables to connect up or would that need changing too? TIA

Go with 220w bi facial from renogy they are amazing no other panel can match
What makes you say that?
I helped Tam fit a couple of Renogy panels to his van, I was not impressed th at the cables were soldered into th. E junction box when I need. Ed to fit a longer cable a right pain. Most pan. Els use ring terminals.

Are you using an Apple Mac? Pretty much every site I use on the Mac comes up insecure but the same sites are fine on a Linux pc. I think it's due to out of date certificates that the Mac doesn't like. I just accept the warning and so far have not had any issues.......

If you fit more solar the controller will almost certainly need changing as a dealer will fit the cheapest they can get away with…

I have two exide e900 gel 85ah batteries so not much more than what power you have but I have two 200w panels and a victron 100/30 mppt controller and I’ve never had to plug in to EHU and I go away for 3 months…

I also considering 400w single panel if I can fit it on ! so much cheaper

But they are designed for domestic use I think

I have three 425W domestic panels on my Transit. Yeah, they do overhang just a little bit. Work perfectly, cost about £100 each.
