Best ebook reader?

Aaarrgggghhhh minefield............

In my opinion, the best way to read a book, is to buy one of those old fashioned things.....

what did they call them........... oh I remember

a book

Kindle paperwhite is the best, would not be without it. I have the kindle app on my phone and ipad but the Paperwhite screen is the easiest on the eye. As well as Amazon I known Nick periodically downloads books from other sources onto the laptop and then onto my kindle for free, I don’t ask too many questions!

One thing some of you may not realise if you have the Kindle app on your phone or tablet providing the WiFi is switched on on your Kindle you can sync it to your phone or tablet.
I've found it useful when out somewhere and have time to kill can sync to the app on my phone and carry on reading the book I was reading at home on my Kindle.

Looks like we are going with the kobo h20

Many thanks for all the help and replies folks
This is why I love this place....
Big mistake me thinks, Kindle is the market leader and not without reason.
Most e-books and PDF's can be converted easily to the Kindle format if not already avalible in it.

The boss had a Sony ereader before her Kindle, I bought it for her as the reviews were very good , it was a lot dearer than a Kindle at the time. Nice aluminium case but reading experience nowhere near as good as a Kindle.

Kindle paper white for me! Easy to hold, easy to see (even in bright sunlight), loads of books (free & paid for) and can sync to phone or tablet if required. Had the app on iPad for ages before I took the plunge, but the screen is not as easy to read for long periods, it’s heavy to hold & cant read in the sun! Kindle is the market leader for a reason!

too late me fears!!!, shes gone with the kobo so we will see!
again, may thanks for all your input!
