We took our Hits Sim Card to the guy in the indoor market yesterday. Ask it had no credit on it from last year it could not be topped up. He sorted us out with a new SIM card and put it in our unlocked MiFi to check it was working ok. All done and dusted within 10 minutes, cost was €25 for 3gig. Great service from Mi Mobile.
Brisey.

I am not really sure, the guy in the market will advise you. One thing to remember if you pay him a visit is to take your passport with you as Id is required.

Our overnight stop at Sobradiel was at an official service area on the AP68.
There is a cafeteria and a fuel station which are open and manned 24 hrs.
Park up in a Bus bay as it can get noisey amongst the lorries. Wee have been stopping here for the past 3years without any problems, as far as we are concerned it is very safe and it is free. The Aire de Service Sobradiel is about 5 miles down the AP68 from the toll booth.
Safe journey down.
Brisey.
Thanks for the info, sounds like a good overnight stop, we`ll make this part of our plan.

Happy New Year to you and yours too Ted. (y)

No, not getting mixed up, as I've not been to the area myself. ;) It was @scotjimland who put up that Google map link for the Truck Stop. All I did was highlight it for the OP. ;)

I couldn't get your coordinates to show anything at all. :(

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Glad you got over the Bay of biscuit OK. Benni is not for me but would have been in 1961......

WARNING small touristy bull fight in this but the matadors look like they are getting the worst of it :Eeek:

The two YouTubes are a great piece of social history. When we visited in 1972 there were fields between the Old Town and Rincon!!
