Be careful cleaning your vans roof !

Didn't get that one sorry. I think I am getting dense as I am missing the point more and more recently. I think it can only be because I have given up smoking :/
Don't fret!

At first, I thought that the OP was showing a video of himself falling off the ladder - ergo, it was his missus narrating.

My bad 😂

Oh, and well done for giving up smoking xx

Basically a crap ladder, poorly setup.

Trout pout and eyebrows were far more distracting than the video clip.
Sad the chap was injured and I’m glad he made a full recovery.

I wonder how many women buy fairground mirrors  , it's absolutely amazing how many must look in the mirror and see something totally different!

As far as i know ,a Concorde Charisma does NOT come with a fixed ladder ,,BUT that's not to say that you could'nt specify one as an extra ,for a price of course !! And NO you don't need to carry the " Henchman" ,just use it at home or storage, BUT it does also break down into smaller handable sections too making it a smaller use .

Most ladder accidents are from heights of under 2m, the main reason being complacency.

A word colleague broke both his ankles dropping 2ft off a ladder, he never lived it down though as he used to do parachuting without any incidents ever! Obviously the height just wasn't great enough for him!

I normally make it a point not to comment on someone's appearance. But in this case I have to ask, what is she doing with her eyebrows? :Eeek:
She doesn’t have eyebrows they are painted on. She does have Botox in her lips, why do women want to look like Daffy Duck?🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
They are likely tattooed rather than 'painted', some people have the original hair lasered off and tattoo on fake ones, which always look fake ... our neighbour has them too but fortunately her surprised look isn't as bad.

Defo a crap ladder, there's quite a bend in it before he climbs to the top, it was always going to fall, just a matter of when/how.

Ok that is the what answered. Thank you for that.

But it raises another question. Why? I mean why would anyone choose to do that on purpose? I just don't get it.

Laziness? No need to pluck/shape/dye eye brows. There are some, eg those with alopecia, who don't have eyebrows, similarly some who have had treatment for cancer who have had all their hair fall out, some it regrows for other not, or not as well, so for these I can understand the desire, but for others I don't get it either.

Done exactly that, for exactly the same reasons that people have offered. Ladder wasn't long enough, wasn't properly grounded and I overreached myself.

Result was broken ribs and five weeks of sleeping upright in a chair, praying that I didn't get a cough.

Lesson learned and now, I pay a local oddjob bloke to clean the roof twice a year. He gets thirty quid and I keep two feet firmly on the ground.

Don't use ladders anymore.

I just don’t get it, not at all, but each to their own I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

I have low brows…… :getmecoat:

What I didn't get was how the doorbell camera knew to pan to the right and zoom in at the right moment. Are they that smart?

Another cringy YouTube Motorhome channel. Not seen this one before .
No sympathy at all :
What an idiot .
Ah, but this time it’s a cringy Youtube motorhome channel in which something actually happens rather than the usual dog walk, bog walk, open cupboard, close cupboard, arriving at….etc, etc that most of them publish

Yes . The ones with the van engine that needed replacing in Spain . Van was shipped back and subscribers purchased a new engine . Easy life for some lol 😂
Yeah they are a bit stoopid.

Most of these youtubers annoy the £#&@ outta me,. Full of staged drama for more viewers.

Some of the channels are so cringeworthy it’s embarrassing to watch .
They wonder around with those GoPro cameras and branded hoodies with their channel logos on ,filming inane footage of campsite toilets etc .
Most have presentation skills that my 4 year old daughter could easily beat . The thing that gets me is that if anyone ever has anything other than praise or god forbid point out they are doing something completely wrong, they immediately get blocked and banned from the channel .
Its not a surprise to me that we don’t have any vanlife Youtubers posting on here . They simply can’t except ever being wrong and need the constant attention they get from people in the comments section .
Quite sad really .

I hope you have good Employer's Liability Insurance.

Didn’t think I’d enjoy their channel but IMO they’re actually two very entertaining and resourceful women. Built their van from scratch and as well as holding responsible jobs, Louise is a talented videographer/editor/photographer. They pace their videos well with lots of useful info about their locations. Best of the camper YouTubers I’ve seen.
