trailers are allowedI used 11 sites this year a mix of new sites ,camping mon village and some ex campsites . it does vary and BBQ's were used. We used our Cadac on a fair few sites (mainly the ex campsites and camping mon village) as did the French . One thing i did see a was the French took no notice of the no trailers allowed sign.
all the camping car parks we visited in May did not allow BBQ's, apparently none of them allow you to use a BBQ that being gas or otherwise, no idea why that is but few people were not taking any notice as usual.
that contradicts what the intercom lady told me i am afraid, i was told no BBQ's and i specifically stated GAS not that we were bothered to be honest as not there long enough.See post#24 from Tribute615 and the ones following. If the CCP location has the Article 6 on the drop down menu then it appears that the prohibition only applies to BBQs with ‘open fires’ - wood, charcoal, etc.

So, finally they answered ……….As I’m sat on one as I type, I’ve just emailed them for a definitive answer.

Cannot see how this would make a difference. I specifically asked about gas bbq and was told that's it's not allowed. How people bend the rules is of course up to those people.I think the old threads and discussion on what constitutes a BBQ should be reviewed and added to this thread as appropriate
But it would be so much fun to see the arguments resurface as to whether a BBQ is a BBQ ....Cannot see how this would make a difference. I specifically asked about gas bbq and was told that's it's not allowed. How people bend the rules is of course up to those people.
I cannot see why its not allowed, I can understand the old bbq's with charcoal etc but not the gas ones. Still I suppose all can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
