Autotrail navajo
Hi, we put our Autotrail Frontier Navajo 2010, into storage for about 8wks, habitation panel switched off, no leisure batteries fitted. Went to get it and would not start, no power in the battery. Anyway back home with it and looked at the drain on the battery and it is 0.35Amps.
No wonder the battery was flat.
Does anyone know what the three fuse on the positive battery terminal panel suppply, 1 off 70A and 2 off 50A.
If I remove the 70A fuse the battery drain is 0.04A.
Advice please.

Could it be for alarm, immobilizer, tracker, cab radio / info / entertainment screen ?
They all seem to drain to some extent.
Could you fit a solar panel to help ?

Hi, all the motorhome parts of the vehicle are switched off and no leisure battery fitted, so yes it could be immobiliser, alarm and cab radio, but 0.35A is high isn't it?
I'm having trouble find what the fuses on the battery terminal supply.
Thanks for the reply

0.35 amps isn't a lot.
Can you pull the fuses one at a time and see what goes off ?
They will possibly be original equipment on the base vehicle, does the handbook give any clues

0.35A is a lot of drain on a battery.
I took the 3 fuses out that are near the battery and removing the 70A fuse dropped the drain current to 0.04A.
The handbook does not show the fuses on the battery, I would like to find out what they supply.

Could be either the hab side or the alternater for the 70 amp fuse. You may have a iffy fridge relay or alternator problem.

Not the same model as yours, but our heater fan is on a permanent supply although ours does run off the leisure battery. It seems unlikely to be that but it's worth checking.

You can't leave a starter battery without charging for more than 3 weeks, even that is pushing it with some vans.
