Bathroom Tap not working (1 Viewer)

Just got on site and found the wash hand basin tap is not working … Sink tap and shower tap working fine as is the pump.

I am assuming the microswitch has gone….

Are they an easy fix/replacement?

I think when ours packed up while on holiday, every time we wanted to use the bathroom tap, we cracked open the kitchen tap and the bathroom sink tap miraculously worked (don’t ask me how, I’m just a girl …)

If it's the 35mm cartridge, yes Screwfix. If it's the micro switch, you'll need to identify the tap.
To check if the switch is faulty, open the duff tap, then open a other tap to get the pump working. Do you now have running water? If yes, faulty microswitch. If no, the fault lies elsewhere.

Hi Mike

Just did what you suggested and tap ran when I opened another tap.

Problem seems to be intermittent but mainly not working.

Will try to strip it down when we return.
