Hi Jim, can you put our names down for this, do we have to pay any fees or deposit now, if so to whom please?

We always wanted to go to Bath too , we look forward to being shown around by JJ who knows Bath so well, and with such great company too how could one resist :thumb::thumb:

Just confirmed. The normal price is £19.70 per night. It will cost us £16 per motorhome per night. The price includes two adults. I will be paying a deposit to confirm the booking so you guys won't have to pay till you turn up. :thumb:

Hi Everyone...

I feel it is my duty to inform fellow Funsters who are planning to visit Bath for this weekend of certain facts before they set off on the trip...

1) The Comedy Walk is not a tour of Bath. The route we take is short. If you need to see the "sights" of this beautiful city you should go on one of the excellent "Mayor's Tours" provided completely free by the council.

2) The personality of this lovely place changes on Saturday nights. There are lots of youths enjoying themselves as they wander from watering hole to watering hole. Be warned that, later on in the evening, lots of the young ladies walk around wearing the skimpiest of outfits which might cause distress to some of the male Funsters... maybe these folk should aim to get back to the site immediately after the end of the Walk to avoid any medical (or pace maker) problems.

3) The Park and Ride buses stop running at 7.00pm (ish)

JJ

PS. I know very, very little about the City or its history. Please avoid asking me any questions as it will just embarrass me...

oh dear, I feel a heckle coming on
as for all the other stuff? I feel you would do better spending your efforts on informing the city of Bath that the Funsters are coming to town :Rofl1:

Whats the Mayors Tour. How often is it run, where do you go too ask about it, get on it.

The Mayor's Tours start from the Abbey Church Yard (by the Roman Baths)... I believe they run at 10am and 2pm everyday but there is a sign up that will tell you their start times. You just turn up and join the group.

JJ

Google "Bath"... there is a Bath website...

Jim I am really sorry but will have to bow out of this one.... something just cropped up which I will explain when see you. Was sooooo looking forward to this particular meet up: I bet it will be wonderful.:cry:

Jim, if you need someone to fill a gap where someone else has dropped out you can include us. We only live 5 miles away, and did intend to come and say 'hi' but we can always come and enjoy a pitch too if it helps.

We were in Bath the week before last. Iv'e never been there but always wanted to.

It was a beautifull day and we managed to see pretty much all of the tourist attractions incuding the street musicians, I left a note for JJ on one of his bikes but it probabley got chucked away.

We didnt have the time to do the comedy walk but it looks like really good fun.

The city is beautifull, In fact its one of the nicest cities that Iv'e been to in the uk. There's a very pleasant atsmosphere everywhere and a feeling that everybody is out for a fun time.

I'm certain that everybody will have a great time at his meet.

Jim
