It's not about nit picking, it's about removing the,understandable, emotion.
Putting petitions to government that have been written in the heat of the moment sometimes means they contain spelling and grammatical errors, and may not clearly convey the intended message. I don't pretend to be very eloquent, there are others on here who are. The idea of peer review was to make sure the message was bang on target.
