Bit of a hasty post this, but we are currently in the Black Forest. We were originally going to head down to Switzerland & on to the Italian lakes for a bit, but the weather predictions are awful for both. Looks like rain and storms for most of Europe for a while to come.

Where to go?

We thought we might go to Corsica & Sardinia, where the forecasts are more favourable, at least for the near future.

Where's the best place to catch a ferry from?

We are 7.5m & 4.4T - is either island even recommended for such vehicles?

Uncertain of Uttoxeter.

what bikes you riding Graham ???

I have a BMW R1250RT and my son has a Kawasaki Z1000 SX

I have lots , but Im taking my Monster 750 with me on next Europe trip in June now I have a trailer ,,,,,

Must be difficult to choose one for you with such nice bikes. 👍👍👍

Taking one on a trailer sounds ideal too. 🥳

Where you heading to ?

I have broached the subject with the boss. No success yet but if I get another smaller bike she might, just might be persuaded. As if we ever need an excuse for another bike 😂😂😂

In Thailand I have 2022 Z900, 2001 Monster S4 and my wife has Rebel 500 ,, in Uk I have the 2000 Monter750, a 1991 Ducati 750ss and my daughter has 2019 Ninja 650,,,, recently sold my restored 1997 HD shovel head and a restored 1996 Monster 750 , to make space .. luckily my family love bikes so I never get negative comments although sometimes they are jealous when i point out bikes are easier to live with than women . Men need projects , been riding and fiddling with them for 53 years since I was 13

Such a choice to have and bikes with real character too 👍👍

Yes we do. I mean the women’s project is usually us. No hope 😂😂. Some should have one too and why not bikes. Keeps us out of mischief.

My son has been riding for 5 years now and we get out for a ride quite often. The boss used to ride pillion but hasn’t for a few years. But she might be starting to come back to the fold. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

We give up. Weather looking awful for the next few days.

We're south now, about to head into France tomorrow, gonna go through Monaco, nice, Cannes, etc. To Provence.

Only so much rain one can stand. It's like the heavens opened up their grey waste...

You may want to check Le Mistral especially over the weekend.

Vaucluse and Bouche de Rhone seem to be getting the worst of it. Inland Vars and Alpes Maritime seem ok
