Back from Stratford.

Hi Guys

Just got back from Stratford, and have to say what a fabulous few days. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.......it's not always easy meeting new folks when you are on your own.....what a lovely, friendly bunch of people!

Will definely come along again, hopefully with my Grumpy Old Man in tow next time, that's if he's not too busy brewing beer.

Thanks to all for another great weekend. Pity about the rain but at least it proved the waterproof shoes I bought at Peterborough really are waterproof

would have been 3.30pm but had to have a 'burger stop'

thanks to everyone who made this a usual funsters event worth attending even if the weather was crap.

heres to the next one..:thumb:

anyone going to travel the M1 between the M18 and M42 anytime soon......major roadworks, narrow lanes and 50mph limit

Great photos Marie,

just to confirm for the height of embarasment,

The first one is a vsery happy Champers with mrs andyman and myself looking on.

The second one in the sequence is a very Pixxed Mrs Haganap dancing before falling over and not being able to dance anymore. (bless her little cotton socks)

The Third one is out of the Hydecolt crewe, wow this chick could out perform any teenager I tell ya, she never stopped going all night.

The fourth is the ourcampersbeentrashed crewe with Gail looking after the BBQ food.

great pics Marie, I have one or two of yourself I will put up. Or you could check out my blog to see a dancing one of yourself :Rofl1::Wink:

Glad you like the pics Paul - I've got loads more in my Stratford Album!! Just be thankful, everyone, that we went to bed before midnight - what would the photos have been like if we'd stayed up late???:Wink::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1: I've seen my dancing photo Paul - THANKS! I wasn't even drunk so no excuse!

Sorry to hear about Kim's ( Mikamada) accident - glad everyone was OK. Good on yer Kim for carrying on driving! I'm with Suzy on the girl power thing!!:thumb::thumb::thumb: Hope it doesn't put you off coming on another meet!:thumb:

We've now arrived "home" and are knackered - a whole week of socialising is exhausting for wrinklies like us!:Rofl1::Rofl1:

Hope to see you all soon - Wrenbury is only two weeks away so I'd better get back in training for it!:Rofl1:

No doubt if I've done it wrong some clever clogs will come along and tell me what to do ( politely I hope!!) :thumb::thumb::Wink:

well, we're home too,

had a bloomin great week away with the club, the kind of meet we wished would never end,

typical british weather i guess, can't be 'just right' has to swing from one extreem to the other, begining of the week my ratties were hot, i had a fan on them and kept giving them frozen fruit, end of the week they were all huddled together in the snuggle hammock refusing to come out,

we left about 10am, earliest we'd been up all week, headed home as we had someone coming to view the bike, had to stop for a rest after an hour of driving as my back was playing up again, had a little nap parked in a layby, and woke up again at 3pm

Got home, waited for this bloke to turn up, he did eventually and i could immediately tell he was a dealer, he moaned about the spot of surface rust on an exhaust bolt, only there due to the weather this weekend, the bikes garaged normaly,
then he tried to offer me 3k by waving a wad of £50 notes under my nose,

i decided not to sell it him even if he offered me more than my asking price because he was actiling like a prat,
he seemed offended that i wouldent consider 3k.. when it's advertised for £3850, i'll go a bit lower but not that much.

so he walked off in a huff, muttering about a wasted 3 hour journey, strange bloke.

Had a great time as usual:BigGrin:

Nice to meet so many new funsters:thumb:

Looking forward to the next outing:BigGrin:

Hi, what a week we had, started it with topless sunbathing  and ended in a mud bath :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Wink:

We had a great time, nice to meet even more FUNSTERS everyone in Stratford knew we were there, not that we make much noise. I must say I think a good time was had by all. Not all Clubs are the same, one of them had this posted::RollEyes:
Show was poor even considering the weather, bins didnt get emptied!,
stalls seemed more expensive than Shepton and marshals were less than helpful.
 I don't think they had as much Fun as us. And thats a fact:BigGrin:
And Yes for the ones that were there early, Jane did drive the new van all the way there.

NOT JUST ROUND AND ROUND THE FIELD LOOKING FOR THE TAP>:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1::thumb:Bob.

Can we play put the marquee up, and move it next time Jim we enjoyed that in the heat of the day after a drink.

thanks everyone for makeing us so welcome we realy enjoyed your company, best wishes to all.MUZ and DRAGON.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the guys who tried to help us with our rain filled awning which collapsed! Most of the water poured over Rick which left us with our heating on full blast trying to dry out jeans and fleece hence not making it to the evenings entertainment on Friday evening.
We are new to club meets but this was our second outing with the club and we did meet up with a few people we met at Newbury, in the rain again!
Really nice to meet gazznsam and especially the rats and Toffee.
Hi to to Julian and Che, really hope you got your leak sorted out in the end it was nice meeting you and don't forget Julian whatever happens in life we have still got our dogs.
Saturday we stayed in with our friend Jake who is not too sure about fireworks but he did really well. So to everyone else hope we get to know you next time. x

What a great meet!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rain didn’t dampen the weekend at all for me; it was great seeing old and meeting new friends!

Paul got me to spend on an all singing jacket…it does what he said though keeps you dry and wind free, its so very light…thanks’ mate.

If I upset anyone on Saturday night Due to me doing half a bottle of Vod I am very sorry…Ooops.

Tony, did you get all your spaghetti sorted out before you left? Sorry Ruth for the prank and making you jump ooops.

To all though thanks for a great time.

Bryan & Suzy for the organising, Jim for the place to keep dry!

I will be at the bring and buy next weekend, no vod though just beer I think!

patrick

Ah, you were the one with webbed feet and the very thhwange voice.

no Brian, just a tough scouser in an adequate jacket I sorted for him, filled with half a bottle of vodka, no wonder he felt dry.

Please where do we buy these Vodka filled Jackets:thumb:

Could only rain vodka on Patrick:Wink::Laughing:

I'm sure Paul will have plenty of them for sale at the Bring 'n' Buy meet!:Rofl1::Rofl1:
You know he's never one to miss an opportunity - mind you, you'll have to get there before Bryan cos he'll buy them all and then sell them for double!!:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

One thing is worrying me is that Patrick only managed half a bottle (never knew he was a light weight:Wink::Laughing:)

He surely cannot be a true scouser:Blush:
