We used similar clips to Two on Tour
Fashioned two braces from lightweight aluminium box section (5’ long) that could quickly be pinned in place to load the awning against and that makes it extremely sturdy. Shades enough of the side for us (fridge vents in particular) and can be used at a lot of aires without causing offence.
Also gives us a bit of rain shelter at C&CC meets.
2xM6 (or 8) stainless bolts through van wall into 2inch square plates mounted on the inside of the wall. Storm straps onto the wheels if it gets blowy. I have a Bailey and the skirts are too weak to support - reckon they flap more than the awning
But I wouldn’t ever leave it unattended. Never mind the wind, have you seen how some of those frenchies drive
