Looking to get an Avtec TV installed in our new MH which means fixing it to a wall. Can anyone please recommend a supply and fit, we are based in Suffolk coastal area. Many thanks.

Personally I'd shop around for a TV as Avtex are vastly overpriced generic panels... the same panel with a JVC badge on is £150! My personal choice is Sniper, true HD, Bluetooth, Smart apps and they've been making TV's for the HGV market for almost 40 years. At checkout there is also the option of a free gift such as a soundbar.

There's nothing special about a TV bracket, any competant DIY'er can fit one.

Thank you, but it’s more about fitting it and aerial etc. it’s a new panel van Mh with no roof aerial. I will look at the tv’s you suggest though. Many thanks.

Ref; aerial, have you considered just using a firestick and no aerial at all?
Being honest that gives a better signal at most places rurally we have camped. Some yes, we need the roof antenna, but for most places Internet is suffient to give a far better experience than using terrestrial TV.

An advantage of the above is of course (with a vpn) you can also use this abroad and have UK tv when not in UK. Where if you use an aerial, good luck with that.

Oh that sounds like a very good solution and I’ll get my partner to look into it. Many thanks I appreciate your help.

You do need Internet obviously for a firestick but it's better imho than drilling roof these days for an aerial you won't even use if you take your van into France. Many people will tether to phones though if you have plenty of data on phone why not use it.

You may want to put a roof antenna on roof for Internet (useful for Wales and very rural North Norfolk in our experience), but thats an entirely different request to a TV. Many threads on here about that and kit suggestions on how to do that yourself, and many commercial places will also install for you (at about 3x the cost of doing it yourself). Worth noting you'll get terrible TV reception in North Norfolk too in some places due to hills (ditto Wales), so having an aerial there can also be bad! One of the valleys in Wales was first place our own Aerial completely failed us for normal TV.
