One of my dogs is terrified of fireworks so looking for a site that is remote enough to not hear any, dog friendly and with EHU if anyone can advise? Ideally in Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire or near those areas. Thanks in advance

I suspect nowhere can be guaranteed to not hear. We hear the displays in Stowmarket sat 7 miles and Ipswich at almost 10 miles. Generally just a small number somewhere in the village.

Stayed at the above site in the summer, it's on the edge of a small village and about 3 or 4 miles from Atherstone. I don't have a dog but this might be suitable.

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Use Google Maps and find sites in areas as far away as possible from populated areas.
Here's a search using the search terms 'Camp sites Warwickshire'. Repeat search using the other counties.

It’d be a lot better if fireworks were banned altogether. They’re a complete nuisance and extremely anti social. They cost a fortune, all for a few moments of ooooooo and aaaaaaah. Anyone who wants to waste money by setting fire to it must be a brick short of a load.

"Indeed so, Minister, but it would be very unpopular with the voters".

Fully booked, although still near a village so I guess may still be at risk of hearing fireworks, but thank you :)
