Avoid Zantac and Ranitidine

The only two tablet types I take are ibuprofen and Zantac,, God help me!!

I`ve been on Omeprazole, for over 5 years. (I have a Barrett`s oesophagus) At the last review, 5 Weeks ago, No mention was made of coming off or changing?.
Dont think Omeprazole is a problem its ranatadine and zantac. Funny though i was told by Spanish Dr last year that all three had been withdrawn in Spain due to contamination by a cancer causing compound

I`ve heard that one somewhere too?.
My GP told me that when he phoned to tell me how our surgery was going to work with high risk patients

I was taking Ranitadine until our daughter said the hospital she works at had withdrawn it.I had just had a prescription review with the practice nurse and nothing was said other than carry on as before.
I took her advice and went to see a doctor for a second option. He was rather angry that neither the nurse or the pharmacy didnt change my prescription.
I am now taking Omeprazole in the mornings and Naproxen twice a day and it seems better than Ranitden twice a day.
I was on Dicklafenic, scuse the spelling. My liver count went off the scale after the first week.
On a similar note our son had epilepsy for ten years with very bad reactions to his medication. His kidneys became dehydrated at one point. The local consultant said he will have to live with his epilepsy no more can be done.
We walked out and booked an appointment with a specialist at Sheffield Halmen.
The first thing we were told was he is on the wrong medication. He became fit free in eight months.
