Yet another problem with the van bought this thing with 5k on the clock now at 14k, it's a Fiat Ducato base unit so Autotrail have washed their hands of all mechanical issues of which their are many. Don't want to bore people with all I have had to fix,trying to find a solution to the extractor problem. The unit stopped working took it out cleaned all that I could however the bearing is know making a din and needs replacing. The question can this be done or do I have to replace the whole thing
Any ideas would be appreciated

Briar I take it you mean the extractor rooflight above the kitchen area. They are pretty useless at extracting and they rob the area of daylight. You'd do better to replace it with a mini Heki rooflight which fits in the same roof opening, is more effective at letting steam etc out and makes the kitchen lighter and brighter.
