Autotrail v line camper van

Just looked at Vantage motorhomes in Leeds. Nice vans but very expensive. About 13000 difference between the Autotrail V line sport and the Vantage van similar layout. Thats a lot of money

For the same money (nearly) get a tracker EKS. Taller but not much longer and a HUGE double bed a mid-ships (by pulling out the 2 side benches) which can be made up in 3 minutes. ! ! ! !
10 year water ingress warranty.
Yes we HAVE had to have 2 new side windows (due to water getting past the rubber to plastic seal) but free under warranty.
Comfortable van, admired regularly by Germans in particular..
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Mitch.
PS. I am NOT getting into ANY arguments about Brit versus foreign vans...

We have an ih N class 630RL , cannot fault Build quality, beds over 6ft long as PVC go it does all we want , any problems take it back to the factory, give them a look

Your quite right.

The Tracker EKS is probably our most popular layout and model due to its overall size but with a very spacious layout. the overall length is only 6.44m compared to the V-Line longest model being 6.33m

Every customer that have driven the V-line PVC then driven the Tracker EKS coachbuilt as comparisons simply are pleasantly surprised the lack of difference to the feel of the drive between the ranges but given that the overall space internally on the EKS are noticeably different and even the appearance externally.

Would I be correct in saying that a TRACKER EKS is the same as an Imala 615 ( with a bit of bling missing)?
The Imala is CHEAPER than a V Line 636 and the TRIBUTE T-615 is the same again and even better value!!

Mitch- afraid your colours have been pinned ASFIAC :D

The Tracker EKS does look good, but one of the reasons that we purchased our V-Line, was that it was not as wide as a Coachbuild. We downsized from a Burstner Sovereign T740. Although we loved the Coachbuild, as we like to travel round they coast, down all they little narrow roads etc and don’t do sites, we just found it too wide. The PVC is so much easier to get about in. Yes, there will always be compromises, but overall are delighted with the V-Line and what it offers.

Which model have you got Nigel L
We have the 635SE.
We liked the flexibility that it offered, having the smaller area at the front where you can use the smaller table, and the rear area with the larger table. Plus we do like to be able to open the rear doors, especially on the warmer days.

Hi Cheshirecat57. The Imala IS virtually the same as the EKS but with a slightly "cheaper" feel to it. But as you say, it IS cheaper, so you pays your money etc etc ..
We are on our 2nd EKS and love the internal space for daytime lounging and fun and the huge bed for...............
Nice van. And, no claustrophobic feel.
I think Jenny would like a Hymmmmmmmer for the drop down bed, but toooo pricey and dont fancy another 2nd hand van.
Mitch.
PS. What have you got ??
