OH is a mechanic and said from the pics, if you had your door secured with the locking cable and that attached to something, looks like they have unlocked the door and pulled it open breaking the door panel off with the force which is common apparently 🤔

Sorry to hear this, looks like you had a cable between the doors and they have popped the lock and renched the door.
May I suggest that you now fit secondary deadbolts on all doors. The original locks are useless. I would also suggest checking the alarm by opening the doors, it is obviously using the built-in interior light switches which may not operate early enough.
Also a lesson for anybody else who chains their doors it needs an eye bolt screwed into the door as the pull handle which is attached to the trim is not strong enough.

Shame about the damage but that can be replaced unlike your motorhome that would have been taken without the bike locks in placethere doesn't appear to be any damage to the door locks to enable them getting into the van.
Were the bike locks and swivelled seats visible or were your side screens up.
Ps can you advise where this was?

They must have looked inside and seen the bike locks with the seats swivelled.
Makes you wonder why they broke in. Probably thought they could snap the locks. We usually use a couple of luggage straps linked together around the door arms.
I suppose the alarm didn't trigger because the doors weren't opened enough.
I would add some other protection now. Just to be sure in case they come back.
May be as well to wrap some white tape or similar around the bike locks so they are more visible (y) without them you would have lost the van.
Or me I will try again
Files are too large
Can you do some stills from the cctv.?

sorry to hear of your predicament, at least they didnt get away with anything. it help me sleep better knowing we have a Growler from Vanbitz and a very good immobiliser, BUT its the damage they cause getting in and the feeling of being vulnerable that be very upsetting.

Was access initially gained by jemmying the door open or was that to break the home fashioned door restraints?
If not, do you know how the initial entry was made ?
Idle curiosity mostly.

A good job.I wouldn't be put off from using the cable locks again. At least you know they work and for ÂŁ55 and a couple of hrs refit it was worth it to keep hold of your van (y)

How do the scrotes open fiat's as transits. An all purpose key off flea bay?
Basically yes.
I believe its an electronic scanner which reads the lock codes and transmits the code opening the doors and cancelling the alarm.
Available on ebay for a few quid.
Theres always a scroat with the knowledge and can make easy money.

They must have a mechanical master key. Forced entry would be much easier via the hab door or a window, otherwise why pick on that route of entry🤷.
