Arrived in France

Currently here.
I LL start a new thread about it.
It's called la dolce via. A 90 km old railway track bike path in the ardeche.
Well impressed.

We are going Newhaven to Dieppe on Saturday. Stopping in Brighton CAMC site Friday night for an early start on Saturday. We have our little dog with us so will let you know how the officials treat her expensive,(£135) AHC.
Can’t wait.

If you sign this declaration do you still need the British/English Covid 19 certificate? I have the certificate but am having a problem getting one for my wife, as her vaccination certificate is not showing, since the local doctor's clinic has not released her imunnisation information, since apparently it has to be done by the EMIS people, and there's a 2 week wait for them to do so. It seems so unnecessary to me, something like 90%+of people in my age bracket are double jabbed, and we still have to produce evidence. She still has the cards that once were the only evidence needed, hoping this will be accepted otherwise.
Sorry. Wasn’t on yesterday. Yes. In fact the Covid barcode is the more important. Not sure what others experience is but we haven’t been able to go into bars, restaurants or even campsites without it!

Look on the eurotunnel website.

Vaccinated Travellers

1. Sworn statement of honour
Fully vaccinated passengers are only required to complete a "Statement of honour"

This must be completed for each passenger, and presented digitally or printed to border control authorities.
We traveled via the tunnel to France last week. We had printed off " sworn statements" but were not asked for them anywhere - just our NHS QR codes.

I came through early Friday morning and had same experience, all very easy for my first time!! I noticed a comment you made on an overnight place one side or the other of Mont Blanc. Can’t find it now, but was that site OK? I’m heading back up from Florence on Saturday and looking for a place the other side of Milano, before heading back through MB tunnel on Sunday.
It was Camping Bellevue at Les Houches. We usually steer clear of camp sites, being proud members of the FLT community, but needed somewhere close to the tunnel and this was the easiest option.
The showers and toilets are very nice, but I didn’t see a motor home servicing point. Fortunately we had emptied black and grey waters at our previous night’s stop and filled up with fresh in Sallanches in case of such an eventuality as the p4n details aren’t up to date.

Thanks Offagain, I had thought it was that one. I did plan to stop there after travelling from Milano, but set off super early and ended up doing double shift and got back up to Chaource this afternoon. Hope your trip goes well.
