Can't say that I have ever used my horn in anger - that's not what it's there for and brings into question the attitude of the driver. I have occasionally used it to warn another road user of my presence, as a short toot accompanied by a friendly wave, or on approaching a blind bend or emerging from a narrow driveway or alley with restricted visibility. A loud aggressive horn is the last thing I would want in those circumstances as it is more likely to encourage the wrong type of response.
You need a load horn in Italy@Deneb ... have you ever been to Italy? If not then you won't realise that you NEED a good horn there as there are so many idiots on the road.
Had to read this twice, didn't see the "E" in heard and thought , well didn't know what I thoughtSame as us then ... but the horn DOES need to be heard.
