Long story, short, Jacko; had a row with the show ground, a Heart attack Or stroke, and the Family took over, it was not the same had much by way of security issues (our travelling friends Again) and bar fights. Moved it to an old Airfield, Near "Sixhills" on the A46 (I think) for one or two years, and it disappeared entirely. Sad Really, I went for years with the old ARVE, and we had good times. Initially "security" was more or less run by the "bikers", very little if any trouble!.

Well Javea took a bashing, the photo I put on of them building the wall helped but never stopped it. ?
It's still raining and lots of water about, the campsites are on high alert, but you can't stop nature. ?
A few photos from today's walk, ? wish I had taken a bag, I could have picked up a few kilos of fish. ? Bob. Screenshot_20200120-215233_Facebook.jpg

?? Not good....

We’re over in the west of Spain, heading east. It’s cold here, but we’re going quite slowly as the cold is better than what’s happening further east!

According to my brother inlaw there is no beach parking for MH's at Castellon now THERE IS NO BEACHo_O:unsure:

For those who have never had a CARAVAN awning, Believe me, when it starts to blow you do NOT take them down, Extra Pegs and Straps. but trying to take them down is like trying to fold a Parachute in a gale!. Many years ago I saw it happening on a campsite, husband and wife where attempting to take down an awning in a wind, Without the efforts of us 6 guys who went to their aid they would have lost it completely. There was also the incident of an R-V awning that went over the top of the R-V (or almost did) At Americana one year. I believe it was actually cut away to prevent more damage?.

Mine went over the top at the Lincoln show, it was beautiful sunny day and we were wandering around the show when our name came over tannoy to return to the rv, a small whirlwind had come through the camping area and ripped the supports of the side and chucked the roller on the roof.
Geo who was opposite us manged to save his by hanging on to it.

The seafronts at Calpe, Albir and Altea are like a war zone. Wrecked sea walls, promenades, bars and buildings. The sea and wind have no mercy.
