is it the same issue that's seems to stop alerts for posts in watched threads?

they seem to have a mind of their own as well, never really sure how many you don't get, but have found when I do get one, follow the link back to the thread to find other new posts before the alerted one

No I didn't get those mentions, which is why I started an investigation this morning. I'm getting and giving now, before today I was not.

Thought I only got mentions in dispatches. Ah shit wrong era, it's probably cos I've had to much sun out here in Gran Canaria and almost certainly to much of their lovely Rosado.

You only get one alert for a watched thread, until you visit, then once gone you'll get another.
