Because it is one of the poorest in spain. Much of the area surrounding Gib has a dependency of around 35% on orders from & supplies to GibraltarPuzzled why think this will affect the Andalusian economy ?
Add in to that the 15,000 crossborder workers who travel each day in to Gibraltar, 10k of them at least being spanish. We ? As in the population of Gibraltar?
I think 33000
When travelling by road you can EXIT the EU with the residency card & you can ENTER the EU with it also. You only need to offer the UK passport at the UK control.
& they have no interest in the 000's of spanish that actually work in Gib either
Fisrt times I offered card on top of passport French not interested just handed all back without doing anything .Brits just checked passport . same out.Richard
Were you just referring to Gib?
I believe you often travel to UK by road/ferry. Does EU residency card alone work for re-entering France? Have you actually only presented EU card and has that been accepted? I ask because I seem to remember you writing that you present card and passport.
It won't make a huge difference to the 8.5 million population of Andalusia.Because it is one of the poorest in spain. Much of the area surrounding Gib has a dependency of around 35% on orders from & supplies to Gibraltar

Whatever happens with Gibraltar it won't cease to exist . Trade will continue , jobs will not suddenly stop
There will be an agreement I'm sureWithout an agreement, many non-essential jobs in Gib for Spanish based EU citizens will go as access to each others’ territories will be restricted.
Without an agreement, trade with Spain will be impacted.
Unlike the UK government, ours will employ reciprocal sanctions.
