April fools meet at The White Horse PH, Tattingstone, Suffolk

We arrived safe and sound at our next destination (Round Plantation site at Mildenhall, Suffolk, where we have met other funsters after their trip to Zahora over the winter). We spent a great week at The White Horse at Tattingstone at BobandJanes meet. It was really good to be able to have the time to socialise, but would have been better if I (Pamala) wasn't feeling so under the weather, sad to miss the busker in the pub last night, perhaps another time.

Many thanks to all who came to our meet and who have heaped praise on our choice! Thanks to the weather gods too.
We had 9 vans altogether and a few day visitors. Some very happy dogs too We had more time there than most folk (except Sundowners, get well soon Pamala) so had numerous walks around the small end of the reservoir and on many of the local footpaths. I also had two cycles round the reservoir (great fun, Bob went round once) and we both had a cycle to Jimmy's Farm which was pleasant, very good for young children.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Busker's night last night (Sunday) and so pleased some other Funsters were able to attend too, a really nice atmosphere. Bob and some of the other Funsters drank the 'Grumpy Bastard' beer, it seemed to suit them
Like everyone else we are planning a return visit and we are even mulling over when a good time for another meet there will be. I will be checking with the pub, looking at rally and show listings etc and will start a thread in due course. Anyone got an event shelter?
