We will be having a mini meet from the 1st till the 3rd of April or longer if you wish, at The White Horse PH Tattingstone, Suffolk.
This site is just a couple of hundred metres from " Alton Water " a vast man-made lake, created in the 1970s and 80s to supply drinking water to the people of South Suffolk.

http://whitehorsetattingstone.co.uk/camping.html

http://www.anglianwater.co.uk/leisure/what-to-see/water-parks/alton/

You can Cycle right round the lake, watch the yatchs sailing, see all the wildlife or just go for a walk.

The pub serves food and the site takes a maximum of 18 vans (allowing for the 6m gap thinghy) with only 5 Electric hook ups water and a toilet block with washbasins. The cost is £7 a night or £9 with electric.

So anyone wanting to join us, post on this thread.

Looks like a great place for a meet.

Unfortunately we are going to a Hippy Meet, and have already bought some of the outfits.

Have fun

Sorry we will not see you there, just the date that suited more the most. As for this dressing up bit... you seem very fond of it! Jane

Looks good to us, please put us down for this one, we are thinking of coming straight to the campsite from the Newark Show which happens to be the weekend before, saves us setting up twice, be nice to be on a different site too.

Can you tell us if the access roads to it and also access into the camping area is OK for us to bring the fifth wheel?

Put us down for electric - thanks.

Hi Nigel and Pamala,
That would be great  I will phone the pub for you though I think the access to that is OK, but I will check. Bob used to take the arctic on roads nearby so that should be OK. Please PM us with the dimensions we are talking about. Should be fine as not many brewers use drays anymore and the pub gets it's beer somehow

Jane and Bob

Hi this is quite a nice little site we have stayed there a few times in the past as we have friends that used to live across the road from the pub.

Thanks to Pat for putting the pictures on - if they can get there we can with ours. Its 14 metres long, or thereabouts, in total.

Nigel and Pamala

Yes, very many thanks for that Pat! Saves me a phone call, always worry I will ring at an inconvenient time and then gabble on in my anxiousness! :Rofl1: Jane

Hi all.

Can you put us down please? If possible could we have electric at least some of the time? Hilary is making rather a large number of costumes for a show the following weekend and may need to bring the sewing machine.

Will probably go the huge distance to Ipswich to collect Mum for lunch on the sunday. Do we need to book in for that?

Robin, Hilary and James.

Hi Robin, Hilary and James, I would say someone will share electric with you.

As its Mothers Day book for food asap because I would say they will be very busy.

Look forward to meeting you all. :thumb: Bob and Jane.
