Actually if you read it again you'll see that it's from years 2 to 6, year 1 is different as you pay the registration and tax together but obviously not in subsequent years. So it's year 1 at whatever that costs plus 5 years at £600.This is the relevant section from 01/04/25 the first year tax on new Motorhomes only is going to be £600 for the first 5 years, it then refers to cost of the new Motorhome.

It was still a private car in the 80's in 81 I had an XR3 as it was a hatchback and I carried goods in it the dealer had to get a weighbridge ticket to register it as a PLG. Did have the advange as then as registered as a goods vehicle I could stop on double yellows to load/load and not get a ticket.Go back far enough and they say Private Car

I was under the impression that these days PLG stood for Public Light Goods. Before 2001 cars were classed as PLG hence this tax disc from 2008 would fall into that category. Cars are now just classed as Diesel Car, Petrol Car or Electric etc. My 2016 Skoda is classed as a Diesel Car.Cars are PLG, always have been.

My 2015 PHGV Hymer remains the same at £165. Another reason for it being our keeper.
