Bought a 2011 Apache 634 yesterday privately and the owner wasn't familiar with how to lock the external garage, gas bottle store etc as they never had any need to, but I can't seem to figure it out either. They have key locks and I have the key but no amount of twiddling seems to get them to lock. What am I doing wrong??

Turn key 180 degrees (left to unlock and right lock).

To open , turn handle to left to unlock, should pop out when turned.

To lock - turn handle to right 180 and then turn key, push the handle in. You can lock and then remove key and turn handle to right and push in.

I've succeeded now with the gas bottle store but just can't get the garage doors to lock. I'll keep trying though, thank you :)

Just make sure there is nothing near the back of the garage doors, as the catch that you move 180 needs clearance behind it to operate.

They shut fine but just getting them to lock is proving impossible. I believe they may have seen better days so will need replacing sadly

Well that`s our 14th year & still loving it.
Perhaps try some ACF50 to lubricate the inner lock mechanism
