3 years 30,000 miles UK and Europe.. Campsites and off Grid.
Just booked for a few nights in June. Just concerned by the bit shown below. I did asked but didn't have any reply or confirmation. Anyone had an experience of this - don't want to get a PCB after paying £45 a night.

Yes but you can just walk in ad s pedestrian, although I've not been up that way for a few months
Probably - but so you can at most CAMC campsites.

I know but my pointbwas that the location is quite a high crime risk area, and that's according to locals?
What locals...its tosh from them.
There is no more crime than any other city area it could be argued there is less due to all the cctv and hi end apartment living.

And around the marina it's well covered by security patrol and cams etc.
The petty criminal element all.o operate up near Kensington and shiel road way, then on to bootle
The city is low risk.

In response to my own original question - The parking company have confirmed my registration. For some reason all my emails were being put straight into my bin!!!

Looking forward to this now although according to many replies I am aware I have been ripped of in terms of cost and will get robbed. Ah well, such is life!

The fellas that operate and work at Bluepoing Marine Services are the "locals" I was referring to. As I said, it's what I've been told not what I know

Not used it yet - booked for July. We are 7.5 but virtually 8 with the bikes on the back.
you'll love it, if you've not been to Liverpool before you'll be amazed at how friendly we are.

You're no more secure or in danger there than anywhere else, don't pay any heed to dummies talking about the inevitable break ins, vehicles on bricks etc.

It gets extremely predictable and boring tbh.

I've been to the Marina (not stayed) and it looks very secure.

The first reply you had was form gpat who's used it a few and loves it, he's ACTUALLY been to Liverpool.

Couldn’t agree more. We have stayed in Liverpool plenty of times and have always found everyone to be really welcoming, and certainly never had any trouble.

It is one of our favourite places to visit and we have always found it one of the more easier places to take a Motorhome as well, especially compared to other cities.

No doubt there will be a few places that are a bit rougher but that’s same for every city, and chances are you aren’t going to be parking your Motorhome in those kind of places anyway.

The marina is an excellent site, it couldn’t really be any more secure and is ideally placed for the city centre.
