Anyone selling a Motorhome Wifi iBoost? (1 Viewer)

My iBoost D8 router has lost it's firmware and they're no longer supported.
Does anyone have a fully working one they no longer use and looking to sell?

I have this one if it's what you are looking for. I have recently removed it from my camper but it hasn't been used for quite some time. As far as I am aware it is in fully working order but I don't have any connecting cables, they were left in the camper. The power is a normal miniature jack plug and the connection to the aerial is a standard RJ45 data cable which I can supply if necessary (I'm ex data comms). You will find it has a bespoke password on the side label which Adam (Motorhome wi-fi) configured for me some years ago when he rebuilt the firmware after a failure.

If you right click your name at top right (blue bar) this opens your Profile.

Under Settings select Preferences.

Scroll down to Receive a notification when someone...

Select what elements you want to be notified on and how.

Maybe I'll try turning them off an on again!

OK, you'll need to resort to the ultimate solution.

Take the unit you're using and steep it in water for a day.
Remove it and hit it severely with a hammer whilst screaming at the top of your voice, "work ya wee bas**rd"!
After that cover in lighter fluid and set on fire whilst shouting "take that ya wee bu**er"!

You only get notifications now if the page is loaded in the background on a tab, there are no emails being sent out due to their servers keep getting blacklisted which is a real pita but i do understand and nothing they (motorhomefun) can do about it.

Yes, I agree that it’s a real pita. I keep having to reset notifications on my fun app. Something don’t seem to quite right with them

I know I’m not the only person with these issues. Perhaps Jim could look into this?

I already threw it out the window from the 2nd floor, is to too late to try your suggestion?

Only if you immediately sprint down the stairs and catch it before it hits the ground!

If you fail to catch it it will just be lying there laughing to itself thinking "well I got off lightly"!
