The Seahouses RNLI crew led rescue the group after they got cut off by the rising tide.

More idiots, being local this really boils my piss, there's enough media coverage about holy island crossing dangers these days, and electronic signs at either end clearly displaying the safe crossing times, but they still risk it.

Personally I’d have been inclined to leave them. couldn’t say they hadn’t been warned. I’d have rescued the dog

Just reread the times stated and checked against the safe crossing times, the RNLI were called out right in the middle of the do not cross times - what on earth were they thinking?

We stay at the Barn at Beal earlier in the year and watched with binos when the tide was coming in its surprising how many risked it even when there was already water on the tarmac. A few bottled it but some 4 x4 carried on.
