Anyone out today making the most of our freedom?

Am at my Static in Towyn, spent most of the day down Llandullas beach and walked down to pensarn. Nose to tail on the A55 coming down, suns been out all day but nippy

I think the North Wales coast line is under rated. Bet it's nice having a static there. 👍

At lymington at a ccc rally or meet very quite

Spent yesterday with a serious BBQ session at the West Beach in St Andrews. Several other vans of various sizes out for the day. Just enough to make it look like a social Sunday outing. All four seasons in one day, including a mad dash to stow our 4.5 metre awning when an icy wind suddenly appeared from nowhere.

Nope, not out till June😞😞 got to work to put money in the pot for all your pensions!!
Have a great time👍👍
.... and it will be much appreciated when I get mine in August, although I have been contributing for 48 years myself. ;)

We're waiting a week, then off to the Norfolk Broads for a few days at a C&CC THS, then across to Cambridgeshire for another at March.

26th April before we can get out and about, so have to stay at home looking at blue skies and sunshine:cool:

Some very close guesses. Al Bondigas got it spot on. Sadly no overnighting there. A shame as it would be a lovely spot. When I arrived it was clear people were. Even one couple in their little hatch back car! Anyway I've moved on a bit to another nice spot. And the bonus for being a good boy and sticking to the rules is fast 4G.

Done about ten miles now today, so back at the van for snacks and bed with a good book.

It's great to be allowed out to play again! ☺️☺️☺️
I was in the right area then, been trial riding up Stanage edge many times 1980’s to 2008

M5 South busy this afternoon. Just like the good old days pre covid.

We are driving to Sussex tomorrow to stay at Mrs DBK's sister's campsite/lodge place, ostensibly to take them their Christmas presents!

But we are off to Cornwall for a proper holiday next week. :)

Leaving mother's driveway tomorrow.... never to return....well for a long time anyway. It's been hell quite frankly. Shes as deaf ...sorry hard of hearing...as a post, and wont put in hearing aids so tv is on full everyday, same crappy programmes and sod all conversation

I've never been but I've wanting to visit Norfolk for ages. Where's the best place to go?
Depends what you want, there’s Chelsea by the sea ( burnham market) or Great Yarmouth the complete opposite.

Plenty of folk are - just done a short run along bits of the M3 /M27, lots of caravans and motorhomes heading West.

Reminds me of when I was the village Plod at Cadnam, J1 M27. Not uncommon for caravans to break down because the queue for Malwood Hill used to catch them out, and the hard braking caused the brake activation piston to seize up. Ended up keeping a grease gun in the pannier of the 'bike so I could release them and the ensuing congestion.
The times spent queueing up there to get off & down to Brockenhurst & queued all through Lyndhurst over the years!

I can't remember the name of the farm but is that where wombles had the Lymington rally a few yrs ago - just past Elmers Court?

Went for a run up to Cromer for a day out. First time out for a few weeks, and we had the dreaded Air Bag light issue. Parked up and had lunch, then about to walk down to the town when the car park man came over to say they were about to shut the height barrier as they heard some travelers were heading that way. He obviously felt sorry for us as he said he would come back and let us out when our ticket expired. At least we had good weather!!

A cheeky night for me watching Netflix with my feet up. It's the best I can do whilst 'staying local'.

When I was there last year in between lockdowns I got interviewed by a reporter saying the parking along the esplanade was going to be banned for ALL vehicles.... it obviously hasn’t then...?

I do a lot of walking. So nice walking spots. Enjoy a good pub stopover too. 🍻

Well it’s all flat here so no mountain walks, haha. Some do the coastal walk and use the coast hopper bus to return back

Yes sat in my campervan at Freshwater East in Pembrokeshire.
Didnt find out till I got here that unlike English sites, Welsh sites can’t open any of the toilet block! Good job I brought the portapotti 😀

Took the van all of 5 miles to a lovely local spot , Abbots Wood near Hailsham , Sussex. Beautiful walk through dappled woods, quiet and peaceful, until about 1030 when picnic parties were arriving. Left them to it and took a lovely drive over the South Downs, past Belle Toute lighthouse and Beachy Head, looking forward to a proper trip soon...

Today, only used enough freedom to get to a local brewery for a fresh beer and bar food.
It was chilly outside 🤔
So just a rare novelty for the foreseeable.
Campsite booked for a week Thursday tho 👍🏻

They seem paranoid in North Norfolk these days! It’s always the same story!

Llyn Peninsular for me, very happy this evening :giggle:

As in 'soch' it to me? haven't been there for 20-odd years, boss used to own a 'cottage' smack on the beach that you could only drive to at low tide. ('cottage' slept about 8 or 10 ISTR)
