Google 'ebike tester'. Cheap device that will let you know whats going on.

Best of luck with the e bike repairs. (y)
If I recall there was a good bike shop opposite the liddl in Albir not sure if he did e bikes.

And, there's room for a spare wheel at the rear of the frame, ;) :ROFLMAO:
That does look " loads of money ", but yes good fun.

Looked online at this terrain hopper and it’s only 8mph max so no good for me.. my present one does 15mph…😎

Just had a message from the shop, the motor is gone, can’t repair or replace…..😔😭
They are talking rubbish and in my opinion that’s really mean of them to say it’s not replaceable .
It’s a hub motor . You can replace the entire thing . What size wheel is it . I can see it’s 36volt 500w . Just need the diameter of the wheel .
A 26 inch wheel and full conversion kit is less than £200 and you won’t need all the extra kit . You can just replace the wheel and connect to your existing wiring .

Just asked a friend in the trade he can't find anything from his suppliers, just asked him about the one in your link.
To me it looks like it might be doable with the spindle swapped.

Lenny HB ,I just need the wheel size from Gary and then I can get a price on just the hub motor without all the kit . I ordered mine from overseas. With the UK legal limit being 250W max , there doesn’t seem to be much availability for off the shelf parts .

Only problem is Garry is not back in UK until at least June.

I think he could easily fit it himself if he had it delivered direct . I am furious that bike shop tried to make out its not fixable . 😡

If it's the complete wheel changing the spindle and getting rid of the cassette it may be doable.
Just the motor would a lot of work and would need the correct spokes, I can imagine his swearing now, respoking and truing up a wheel.

Yes the entire wheel with hub motor would need replacing . Hopefully he can get the bike operational again soon .

My friend is looking to see if the spindle be changed he said forks may need modifying as well
It might be possible to get the spindle changed and the cassette removed before it’s sent out . I just need to confirm the wheel diameter with Garry and then we can get some prices. .

Looks like a 20 inch. Also, if you Google “power trike” then the one that comes up that looks like this one is specced with a 20 inch front wheel.

Just pricing things up . Just smiffy . I suggest you go for 750w motor that can still be run at 36v.
